Genesis 10:7
And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
The record of the sons of Cush — Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, Sabtecha, and the sons of Raamah, Sheba and Dedan — belongs to the most ancient and most comprehensive history possessed by men. That history came fresh from the fountain of eternal truth, and its purity has been kept through the ages by a divine hand.
Through that history the verse shares in giving the only authentic account of the origin of nations. Through it also the verse shares in giving the only history of the human race unsullied by human pride or prejudice.
Through that same history the verse helps to light up the far-distant past where human research seeks in vain to penetrate. There it beholds and reveals the power that laid the foundations of the earth and stretched out the heavens.
