Abram Standing Above His Flocks at Sunsetby Ironbark
13:2Genesis 13:2
And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.
Abram came back into Canaan very rich, abounding in livestock as well as in silver and gold. His return was marked by greatly increased possessions in herds and in precious metals. When that prosperity brought the danger of strife, he met it with a noble and unselfish spirit. He treated Lot as a brother, sought peace rather than contention, and would not insist on his own rights.
