Genesis 24:48
And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master’s brother’s daughter unto his son. And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master’s brother’s daughter unto his son.
The servant bowed down his head in worship and blessed the Lord, thanking and praising Him for His guidance. He recognized that the Lord God of his master Abraham had led him in the right way to take Rebekah, from Abraham's kindred, as a suitable wife for Isaac.
The choice of a marriage partner is to be made a matter of seeking God's direction with trust and prayer, as Isaac's marriage was. Parents are responsible to guide their children's affections toward suitable companions. Children who profess to fear God should respect and rely on their parents' God-fearing judgment, as Isaac deferred to his father's choice in the servant's selection of Rebekah.
Isaac's submission to his father's choice and his trust in God's direction reflected the obedient life Abraham had taught him.
