Genesis 31:18
And he carried away all his cattle, and all his goods which he had gotten, the cattle of his getting, which he had gotten in Padan-aram, for to go to Isaac his father in the land of Canaan. And he carried away all his cattle, and all his goods which he had gotten, the cattle of his getting, which he had gotten in Padan-aram, for to go to Isaac his father in the land of Canaan.
Jacob left Padan-aram to return to Isaac his father in the land of Canaan. He carried away with him his household and all the cattle and goods he had acquired, the cattle of his getting which he had gotten in Padan-aram during his years of service to Laban. His return was made in obedience to God's direction to go back. It took place after Laban's growing envy toward him and at a time when Jacob feared for his own safety.
