Genesis 33:2
And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost. And he put the handmaids and their children foremost, and Leah and her children after, and Rachel and Joseph hindermost.
Genesis 33:2 belongs to Jacob's meeting with Esau after his night of wrestling and receiving God's blessing. Esau was advancing toward Jacob with four hundred men intending to kill him. While Jacob wrestled through the night, God sent another angel to move on Esau's heart in sleep with a dream showing Jacob as an exile twenty years from his father's house for fear of his life, his sorrow to find his mother dead, his humility, and angels of God around him, leaving Esau with no mind to harm him. On waking, Esau told his four hundred men his dream and commanded that not one of them injure Jacob, for the God of his father was with him. Under that protection Jacob went before his family and bowed himself to the ground seven times until he came near his brother. Esau then ran to meet him and embraced him and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept, after which Jacob urged Esau to accept his peace offering until he took it.
Jacob met Esau's armed bands halting upon his thigh, in a crippled and helpless state after falling upon the breast of the covenant angel, showing helpless dependence on Christ. That helpless state marked the victory of conquering faith and his receiving the title of a prince with God. His yielded will, received again purified and refined and linked in sympathy with the divine, let God's love and power flow through him, so that out of weakness he was made strong and stilled the armed bands and turned aside hostility.
