Genesis 35:8
But Deborah Rebekah’s nurse died, and she was buried beneath Beth-el under an oak: and the name of it was called Allon-bachuth. But Deborah Rebekah’s nurse died, and she was buried beneath Beth-el under an oak: and the name of it was called Allon-bachuth.
Deborah was Rebekah's nurse, and she died at Bethel and was buried beneath an oak near there. The tree at her burial place was named Allon-bachuth. That name means oak of weeping and was given because her grave was mourned with deep weeping. Her memory is preserved as a faithful servant and beloved member of the family whose loss brought sorrow.
