Genesis 40:11
And Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand. And Pharaoh’s cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh’s cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh’s hand.
The verse sets out what the chief butler saw in his dream, that he took grapes and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup and then gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand. The dream meant that after three days he would be restored to his position and to Pharaoh's favor and office. He would again serve Pharaoh by placing the cup in his hand, just as he had formerly done before his imprisonment. That interpretation brought the butler relief because it promised his release from prison.
The interpretation came true when the butler was restored to his place. He was restored to his office and again served Pharaoh. At the same time the chief baker was hanged, exactly as had been foretold.
