Genesis 40:2
And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers. And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.
Pharaoh became angry and offended with two of his officers, the chief cupbearer or butler and the chief baker. For their offense the two officers were cast into prison. This took place in the prison where Joseph was held while he was still confined.
The imprisoned officers were placed under Joseph's charge and especial care. Their arrival marks a turning-point in Joseph's life. Joseph himself was unjustly imprisoned, yet he continued to serve his suffering companions.
