Genesis 49:13
Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon. Zebulun shall dwell at the haven of the sea; and he shall be for an haven of ships; and his border shall be unto Zidon.
The word concerning Zebulun was not spoken from mere fatherly affection nor from an unforgiving spirit nursing past wrongs, for Jacob had forgiven his children and loved them to the last. It was spoken in his last hours, when angels were around him and the power of God's grace shone upon him, as God by the Spirit of prophecy lifted his mind above his natural feelings. It belongs to his inspired prophetic dying testimony to his sorrowing sons, in which paternal feeling alone would have uttered only love and tenderness, yet under inspiration he uttered truth even when painful, including the future foretold for Zebulun. Unlike the gloomy words to Simeon and Levi that exposed their deeds of violence and declared that God would visit them for their sins, the words to Zebulun are not as gloomy.
