Habakkuk 2:16
Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD’s right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory. Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD’s right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.
Habakkuk 2:1-20 is the word of the Lord for the last days. What is foretold there will not tarry beyond the appointed time. It will soon be witnessed just as clearly as it is described, and will surely be fulfilled.
It describes a destruction and desolation that will soon come and be universal. It gives only a faint description of the reality soon to come. That reality comes when the end is near, while Satan is drilling his army to develop strong parties ready for the great battle of the last great conflict.
What is described will become a living reality, as surely as the desolation seen at San Francisco was seen. For the time when evil shall spring forth it calls for wisdom. It warns that men in high places supposing themselves wise will block the way, and urges clearing the King's highway.
It therefore calls everyone to be also ready, for in such an hour as is not thought the Son of man comes.
