Hebrews 13:11

For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

The law required that for sin offerings whose blood was carried into the sanctuary, the bodies were not eaten or used within but were burned outside the camp. That outward burning marked the offering as wholly set apart for sin, removed from common use and completed beyond the place of dwelling. This pattern was fulfilled when Jesus completed the offering of Himself by suffering outside the gate.

By dying outside, He presented the one sufficient sacrifice, and through that death atonement was made for the people. No other death or offering was needed to finish what He finished there. He now serves as High Priest, interceding in the heavenly holy place on the strength of that completed sacrifice. Nothing can be added to His offering, for its sufficiency stands forever in that intercession.
