Hosea 13:15
Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.
Though he is fruitful among his brethren, Ephraim will not be shielded by that fruitfulness from coming judgment. The wind of the Lord shall come as an east wind rising from the wilderness, drying up his spring and his fountain until the water fails, and plundering the treasure of all his cherished and pleasant vessels. This warning reaches those who esteem themselves superior to their brethren and trust their favored standing to secure them. It therefore calls them to return to the Lord and to turn decisively away from iniquity.
