Hosea 6:11

Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.

Hosea 6:1-11 is a prophecy of the condition of the world just before the second coming of the Lord. It declares that the end of all things is at hand and that iniquity abounds because men have transgressed the law and broken the everlasting covenant, which was given on condition of obedience, by continual transgression. It further reveals a world coming more and more under the sway of seducing spirits as men turn away from God and His righteous government, professing godliness while indulging their own traits of character and becoming self-indulgent and self-centered unless conscientiously under the control of God.

It shows that those who trample upon God's law make human laws which they will force the people to accept. Men will devise and counsel and plan to enforce Sunday observance, arguing that since the whole world keeps Sunday the few in number should act according to the laws of the land. Those who do this are blinded by error, taking their words from priests and human lawmakers, and suppose it does not matter if they do not keep the law of God. That law was instituted in Eden when the foundations of the earth were laid and all the sons of God shouted for joy, and it includes God's memorial given so that man might honor the living God who made the world in six days and sanctified and blessed the day of His rest.
