Hosea 9:15
All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters. All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.
Hosea's declaration belongs to his warning directed to the northern tribes of Israel. It exposes the gross iniquity that characterized them and announces the judgment coming upon the nation. That judgment would take the form of national captivity, with the people taken away from their land. Wickedness and punishment are thus joined together, the captivity standing as the consequence of their iniquity.
