Isaiah 13:7

Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt:

The verse describes the day of the Lord as destruction from the Almighty. It is the time when God comes to punish the world for its evil. In that day all hands grow faint and weak and lose strength, and every man's heart melts with fear. Its surrounding context presents that day as anguish and pain in which the proud and the haughty are brought down, and this terror will overcome those who are unprepared to meet God in peace on the great judgment day. It applies to the seven last plagues, the time of wrath before Christ's second coming.
