Isaiah 16:14
But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble. Isaiah 16:14 belongs to the prophecy directed against Moab as one of the oppressors of Judah. Within three years the glory of Moab, together with all its great multitude, was to be brought into contempt. Those three years are to be counted precisely, as the fixed and exactly measured term of a hired laborer. After that appointed time only a very small and feeble remnant of Moab would be left.
