Isaiah 2:2

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

It is a prophecy of events that come to pass in the last days, with special application to the present time. It pictures all the world going up to Jerusalem to worship. Its plain words must not be replaced with figurative meanings, so going up to the mountain of the Lord's house does not mean a grand Methodist class meeting.

Battle Creek is not to be that Jerusalem. The verse does not authorize centering many important interests, institutions, and strength in one place for all to come to. God's order is the opposite, to scatter the work over a greater amount of territory and build it up in other localities needing facilities and means.
