Isaiah 25:10

For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.

In this mountain the resting of the hand of the Lord means that His power and presence remain there in protection and favor. Moab being trodden down under Him means being brought low and trampled and crushed as worthless straw, showing a complete overthrow of the proud. Moab pictures hostile powers characterized by pride and self-exaltation. That crushing of Moab is part of the Lord's deliverance of His people. The verse will be fulfilled in the future when the Lord destroys all pride and self-exaltation.
