Isaiah 25:12

And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

In Isaiah 25-26 is seen the preparation God has made for salvation. The feast there is the blessing of pardon, the removing and taking away of sins by free access of grace to the riches of His glory. The Word of the living God received and practiced here is the preparation for entering into church relationship, and the wedding garment required for the marriage supper is the righteousness of Christ.

God Himself will completely bring down the fortress of the high fort of walls, lay it low and bring it to the ground, even to the dust. This act is one of His wonderful works and His counsels of old to His covenant people, which are faithfulness and truth, displaying mercy and righteousness founded on understanding and obeying the will of the Lord. The leveling looks to the future destruction of all pride and self-exaltation, condemning arbitrary domineering power of man over his fellow man. It requires strict obedience from men in places of highest responsibility, meaning a change in administration in California was needed to accomplish God's great work there.
