Isaiah 29:4
And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.
Isaiah 29 portrays the conditions existing in the world today, and this verse stands as part of that present-day depiction. The chapter is to be studied by those who have cast the truth behind them and who are being deceived by misleading words. To those who once knew the truth but have turned aside, God in this setting extends the invitation to return to Him.
