Isaiah 30:32
And in every place where the grounded staff shall pass, which the LORD shall lay upon him, it shall be with tabrets and harps: and in battles of shaking will he fight with it. The grounded staff is the appointed stroke of judgment laid upon Assyria, and in every place where it passes it strikes to defeat and bring the oppressor down. Each blow that falls upon him is accompanied with music of tabrets and harps, so that punishment is mingled with celebration. This overthrow belongs to the time of the final sifting of the nations, the day of final judgment. What is foretold of Assyria applies by extension to nations that arrogantly set themselves against God. At that same time those who have kept the truth, the righteous, are permitted to enter God's city, while the redeemed sing and rejoice for joy.
