Isaiah 30:33

For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large: the pile thereof is fire and much wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.

Tophet was ordained from ancient time as a place of judgment and made ready for the king. That king is Satan, the chief leader of rebellion. Its pyre was made deep and large, with fire and much wood, and it is set ablaze by the breath of the Lord like a flowing stream of brimstone. It foretells the final destruction upon the earth, when devouring fire consumes Satan together with the wicked. In that fire Satan suffers longest and most severely, because he answers not only for his own rebellion but for all the sins he led others to commit.
