A Seraph Touches Isaiah's Lips with a Coalby emmanuel_higgins

Isaiah 37:33

Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.

God promised concerning the king of Assyria that he would not come into Jerusalem and would not attack it, his forces neither shooting an arrow there nor coming before it with shields nor casting up siegeworks against it. That protection was fulfilled when the Assyrian army was struck down in one night. After that judgment the king returned by the way he had come.
