Isaiah 46:3
Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb: Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb:
The call is addressed to the house of Jacob and to all the remnant of the house of Israel as those whom God has borne from the belly and carried from the womb. To be borne and carried in this way means to be upheld and cared for from birth and from the earliest life. The same carrying is not limited to the beginning of life, for joined to the next verse the promise extends that care into old age. In old age God still bears and He also delivers.
