Isaiah 51:18
There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up. Isaiah 51 is a message spoken to people under affliction, meeting them in their distress with a call from God. It urges the afflicted to seek the Lord as their refuge and deliverer. It further calls them to turn from their sins in repentance and to live out righteousness in daily practice. In doing so it imparts hope and courage, assuring the afflicted that comfort and restoration are set before them.
