Isaiah 57:3

But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.

The chapter is to be diligently studied together with chapters 55, 56, and 58 by ministers and people in order to rouse them from spiritual dullness. It stands within a broad field of comfort and encouragement. It presents an open door to enter and meet with God, where He may be earnestly sought and will be found.

It calls for the meekness Christ exemplified, humbling the heart before God and standing in right relation to Him. It is a message to those in the cities who profess present truth to wake up and share with others what the Lord has given them. It calls those who have not yet come up to the help of the Lord to arise and shine because their light has come, seeing the glory of God as they share the gospel light with full assurance that angels will impress the minds of those for whom they labor.
