Isaiah 60:7

All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.

The verse pictures all the flocks of Kedar gathered together to God's people and the rams of Nebaioth ministering to them, coming up with acceptance on His altar while He glorifies the house of His glory. Its chapter defines the work of Christ, who came to save those under Satan's power and to set right what unrighteous leaders had distorted. Standing with its surrounding chapters, it shows that the uplifted banner of truth in the third angel's message carries conversion in it, for the law of the Lord is perfect for converting the soul. Belonging to the larger passage of Isaiah 60-61, it gives inspiration and encouragement to those called to take part in God's work on earth.

It is a conditional promise outlining the possibilities before God's people of what may come to pass if they faithfully perform the work God has given them to do. Its fulfillment comes as outsiders are brought in. It means that wealthy people who hold the Lord's money in trust will come to help support and sustain missionary work in all parts of the world. Because of this, it is right to ask wealthy men for means to carry on missionary work, and some will consider giving a privilege.

It calls God's people to unite in sowing gospel seed by entering new fields and occupying new territory, each doing his appointed work as a specialty, not trusting in self but pleading with the Lord for His power and grace to be manifested, with Christ and heavenly angels uniting with such workers, and the Lord is glorified when His people so advance. It rebukes hovering about large centers to enjoy a pleasant place and church privileges while saying by actions not to be disturbed, and it requires work outside the church with opportunity for service in every city and town and village, not remaining only to enjoy preaching but imparting the very truths heard to the many who need them and laboring for souls as those who must give an account. Together with Isaiah 65 it must be heeded and accepted, and when received with the stopping of all complaining and every evil work, Isaiah 60 and 61 are understood and Isaiah 62 to 65 speak in a most decided manner, with the Lord manifesting His power in the conviction and conversion of souls.
