Isaiah 63:11
Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him? Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
Isaiah 63 belongs with chapters whose message is direct and decisive for all who bear responsibility in God's work. Its place in that group gives Isaiah 63:11 a special force as an appeal to workers, calling them to take its words to heart. That heeding means a practical reform in spirit and conduct, ceasing complaint and putting away every evil course. When workers respond in this way, the Lord's power will attend their labor to convince and convert souls.
