Isaiah 64:7
And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities. And there is none that calleth upon thy name, that stirreth up himself to take hold of thee: for thou hast hid thy face from us, and hast consumed us, because of our iniquities.
Isaiah 64 speaks decisively to those who have disregarded divine reproof and neglected their duty to make the truth known. Their present ways are not acceptable to God, and a reformation must take place among His people. They are to cease complaining and doing evil, and instead draw near to God in repentance and conversion. When they turn back in this way, the Lord will use them to bring conviction and conversion to others.
