Isaiah 7:25
And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle. And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.
Isaiah 7 is to be read together with Isaiah 6, Jeremiah 7, Jeremiah 8, and Isaiah 55 as one united testimony. Together they warn against continual and perpetual backsliding, against refusing to repent, against trusting in lying and deceptive words, and against healing hurt slightly by declaring peace where there is no peace. Together they call to amend ways and doings and actions, to obey God's voice, to come to the waters, to hear, and to live under the everlasting covenant.
