Jeremiah 11:14
Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble. Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up a cry or prayer for them: for I will not hear them in the time that they cry unto me for their trouble.
Intercession is forbidden for God's professed people when they have persistently refused to hear the words of His covenant and do them. From the day He brought them up out of Egypt even to that day He earnestly urged them to obey His voice, yet they did not obey nor incline the ear but each walked in the imagination of his own evil heart, so He would bring upon them all the words of the covenant. There is no excuse for turning away from truth and righteousness. Those who claim a place as His beloved in His house while practicing shameful acts with many and rejoicing in doing evil have forfeited intercession. He will not hear them in the time that they cry to Him for their trouble.
