Jeremiah 14:15
Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed. The verse concerns those who claim to prophesy in the name of the Lord when He has not sent them and has given them no message, who declare that sword and famine shall not come upon the land, and it declares that those very prophets shall themselves be consumed by sword and famine.
It applies to peace-and-safety preachers who put the evil day far away and proclaim a thousand years of peace and plenty.
Their assurances of peace do not prevent the coming judgments from falling, even upon themselves.
