Jeremiah 15:1

Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.

Judah's persistent disobedience and sin had brought the nation to a point where even though Moses and Samuel stood before God to intercede, His mind and favor could not be turned toward the people and His judgment could not be turned away. With Josiah's death he could no longer intercede for the nation, and the time when intercession could help had nearly passed. God had given the people time to repent, but they refused and did not repent. So the judgments spoken against the nation were fulfilled.

God therefore directed that they be cast out of His sight, rejected, and driven forth from His presence. The fates appointed for them were death, the sword, famine, and captivity. The verse warns that in the last days God may withdraw His prospering hand from those who persist in evil and refuse to repent.
