Jeremiah 16:3

Jeremiah 16:3 belongs to the section of Jeremiah in chapters 12–24 that warns the Jews. It stands within prophecy whose meaning is very clear as an awful denunciation against sin. That denunciation expresses sorrow of heart over the people's transgression and makes a most touching appeal for them to return to God. Yet the mass of the people show utter lack of response to the message.
