Jeremiah 24:10
And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers. And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.
Jeremiah 24 is addressed to the inhabitants of Jerusalem as those who had set themselves to persist in wrongdoing. Their inner life is marked by alienation, for their hearts had become estranged from God. Against that condition comes the warning of verse 10, that the sword and famine and pestilence would be sent among them. That visitation would continue until they were utterly consumed from off the land that had been given to them and to their fathers.
