Jeremiah 24:6

For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

Jeremiah 24 pictures people whose hearts are estranged from God and who are determined to do wrong. To set eyes upon them for good means to watch over His people for their good and to care for them. To bring them again to the land, and to build them and plant them, means to restore and establish them, not to pull them down and not to pluck them up. That promise of care and restoration does not belong to those who persist in unrighteousness. Students may take the assurance personally that God watches over them for good and not for evil.
