Jeremiah 25:14
For many nations and great kings shall serve themselves of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands. The judgment declared around this verse is the draining of a cup filled with the wine of divine wrath. Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, together with their kings, are among the first compelled to drink this cup of woe. After them comes Pharaoh king of Egypt, with his servants and his princes and all his people. Many other nations of the earth drink in turn, until God's purpose is fulfilled.
