Jeremiah 27:22
They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place. They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, saith the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
The vessels taken from the Lord's house, from His temple, would be carried to Babylon and remain there until the day He visits them. The captives already carried to Babylon would also remain there until that same time. Their stay in Babylon would last until God's appointed time. That appointed time is the end of the seventy years of captivity.
Then God Himself will bring them up and restore them to Jerusalem, to this place, bringing back both the people and the sacred vessels. The promise makes the return sure and certain, assuring that the exile and the loss are not permanent. When God restores His people and vessels to their place, He will punish Babylon for oppressing them.
