Jeremiah 29:2

( After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;)

Jeremiah 29:2 opens the account of Jeremiah's letters to the Hebrew captives in Babylon, dispatched after Jeconiah the king, the queen, the eunuchs or court officers, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters and smiths or craftsmen had departed from Jerusalem. Those testimonies of Jeremiah were written soon after the Babylonian captivity began. They set forth a clear prophecy that the desolation of Jerusalem would continue for seventy years.
