Jeremiah 30:8
For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him: For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:
The verses surrounding this promise describe the future time of Jacob's trouble. That time of distress comes before deliverance, and this verse belongs within its description. The breaking of the yoke and bursting of the bonds marks the end of that trouble for God's people.
In that time the saints will be delivered by the voice of God. Their liberation comes not by human power but by divine intervention speaking on their behalf. The promise of freedom from servitude to strangers is thus fulfilled in their final deliverance.
