Jeremiah 31:6
For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God. For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
The promise belongs to the larger restoration prophecy recorded across Jeremiah 30-31. It stands within a sequence of assurances given to Israel concerning deliverance from captivity. Its setting is the foretold return of the exiled people to their own land. Its call to go up to Zion expresses that promised gathering home after exile.
