Jeremiah 32:27

Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

Behold, the Lord is God over all humanity, over all flesh. Nothing is too difficult for Him to do, nothing is beyond His power, nothing is too hard for Him. Even Jerusalem's imminent destruction and Judah's captivity cannot prevent Him from fulfilling His purpose to restore Israel and bring the people back to dwell safely in the land.

His unlimited power includes saving sinners, for even the most hardened, selfish, sin-hardened soul is never beyond the reach of divine grace, because He directs human hearts the way rivers of water are turned and can bring such a soul to surrender to Christ. The one who seems hopeless may accept the truth in love and become a preserving influence for good in the world, the salt of the earth. Therefore those who proclaim the gospel, the heralds of the gospel of Christ, should never become discouraged in their work nor regard any sinner as beyond hope. His word never fails, does not return void, but accomplishes what He desires and pleases and succeeds and prospers wherever He sends it.
