Jeremiah 32:37
Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:
The promise was given when Jerusalem stood on the verge of falling to the Chaldeans, and it concerned Judah being driven into exile under God's anger, fury, and great wrath. God pledged to gather His people out of all the countries to which He had scattered them, to bring them again to their own place, and to cause them to dwell there in safety. Neither the destruction of the city nor the captivity of its people would prevent His purpose of restoration for Israel from being fulfilled.
