Nebuzaradan Unlocks Jeremiah's Chains at Ramahby emmanuel_higgins

Jeremiah 39:12

Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto thee.

Nebuchadnezzar gave the charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzar-adan, his captain of the guard. The charge was to keep careful watch over him, to do him no harm, to treat him well, and to do for him just as he himself should ask. Under that order the Babylonian officers brought him out of prison and left the decision of what should be done for him in his own hands. He used that liberty to remain with the poor remnant left in the land of Judah. He had been cast into the pit for faithful integrity, yet God did not forsake him, but raised him out of the pit and turned the hearts of princes to favor his cause.
