Jeremiah 43:6
Even men, and women, and children, and the king’s daughters, and every person that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.
The company carried down to Egypt embraced men and women and children, including the king's daughters whom Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and with them went Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch the son of Neriah. This departure came after the murder of Gedaliah, when the leaders of the remnant resolved to seek refuge in Egypt. Jeremiah warned them against that course, delivering the Lord's counsel not to go to Egypt. In disobedience to that counsel they went on to Tahpanhes.
