Jeremiah 44:11
Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah. Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.
Jeremiah 44:11 stands in the historical portion of the book of Jeremiah. That portion deals with the history of the two years immediately before Jerusalem fell. The verse declares that the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, sets His face against His people for evil. Its stated purpose is to cut off all Judah as a nation. That cutting off is judgment brought upon the nation because it violated His laws.
