Jeremiah 50:34
Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon. Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.
The Redeemer of Israel and Judah is strong in power to deliver His captive people. His name is the LORD of hosts, the Commander of all the forces of heaven and earth. He thoroughly pleads the cause of His own against those who hold them captive, taking up their case as an advocate and judge. By that pleading He gives rest to the land of His people while bringing trouble and disquiet upon the inhabitants of Babylon.
