Jeremiah 50:5

They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces thitherward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.

The verse portrays people inquiring after the road to Zion with their faces directed toward it, calling on one another to attach themselves to the Lord. That joining of oneself to the Lord is an entering into a lasting covenant with Him that shall not be forgotten. Such entering into covenant follows giving oneself to God and joining heart and life to Christ. Inquiring the way to Zion and turning toward it marks the beginning of giving the heart to the Lord, as illustrated in Henry's experience.
