My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace. God's people are pictured as lost sheep of His fold scattered in every place, in many places abroad.
The work that should be done to seek out those scattered sheep is being neglected.
They must be sought out and have the truth brought to them.
Seeking them means reaching them with books containing truth essential for this time.
That seeking calls for a greatly enlarged canvassing work, with one hundred canvassers in the field where there is now one, to put such books before the world instead of storybooks.
