Captive Judah Before the King of BabylonBibleWorld
52:10Jeremiah 52:10
And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.
After Babylon conquered Jerusalem, the king of Babylon at Riblah put Zedekiah's sons to death before his eyes. He also took Zedekiah himself captive there. He then blinded him. This was the fearful penalty that followed Zedekiah's unbelief and his obedience to ungodly counsel.
